Deion Sanders has done it all: two-time Super Bowl champion, Hall of Famer, eight-time Pro Bowler, and one of the most electrifying athletes the NFL has ever seen.
The name Deion Sanders commands respect not just for his talent, but for redefining the cornerback position. When it comes to ranking the NFL’s all-time greats, fans expect one name to show up without question: Deion Sanders.
CBS Sports Lists Top 25 NFL Players
CBS Sports recently published a ranking of the top 25 NFL players of all time, spotlighting some of the most iconic names to ever grace the field.
The list features legends like Tom Brady, Jerry Rice, Reggie White, and Patrick Mahomes. Each player’s unique career milestones were highlighted, including Brady’s unmatched Super Bowl legacy, Mahomes’ three Super Bowl MVPs, and Reggie White’s dominance as “The Minister of Defense” for his elite pass-rushing abilities.
The list celebrates players who defined their positions and left a lasting impact on the league. From quarterbacks to defensive powerhouses, CBS aimed to capture the essence of true NFL greatness in their rankings.
However, despite honoring many all-time greats, the list completely left out one of the game’s most electrifying and decorated defenders, Deion Sanders. The absence of Coach Prime didn’t go unnoticed, and it’s already stirring up a heated conversation online.
CBS Sports Snubbed Deion Sanders, and Fans are Irate
One of the most shocking aspects of CBS Sports’ Top 25 NFL Players of All Time list was the complete omission of Deion Sanders.
Beyond his on-field legacy, Coach Prime has remained a dominant figure in football through his high-profile coaching career, making the snub even harder to justify.
Fans weren’t quiet about it. One post bluntly stated, “Deion Sanders not in the list is criminal.”
Others echoed the disbelief: “No Ed Reed or Deion Sanders, Drew Brees.” Another pointed out, “Deion should definitely be on this list.”
The confusion was widespread: “Deion Sanders? Donald better than Lewis… Gronk better than Tony?” One user summed it up: “For 20 years, media said Deion is the best CB ever… I wonder what happened.”
Could it be because of Deion’s beef with CBS Sports? Remember when Prime denied taking questions from a CBS Sports reporter during his press conference, where he also lashed out at The Denver Post columnist Sean Keeler.
Other Big NFL Names Snubbed
Deion Sanders wasn’t the only glaring omission. Fans also pointed out the absence of other legends. Ed Reed, one of the most feared safeties in NFL history. Drew Brees, who once held the all-time passing yards record. Warren Sapp, a Hall of Fame defensive tackle with a Super Bowl ring, prompting one fan to ask, “Why would Aaron Donald make this list and not WARREN SAPP?”
Terrell Owens, the iconic wide receiver ranked third in all-time receiving yards, and Terry Bradshaw, a four-time Super Bowl-winning quarterback, were also missing.
For many, the list simply didn’t tell the full story.

Prime Time don’t need recognition from them because God has his recognition God knows he’s great and that’s the only thing that matters to Mr Dion Sanders he don’t need to be validated by the demons and the devils
