“Tag Me”: Controversial Last Chance U Coach Responds To Shilo Sanders For Trying to Take Shots At Him
Shilo Sanders, Coach Jason Brown

Shilo Sanders shook the internet with his Instagram story on the first day of the transfer portal. But as it turns out there was a hidden shot taken at the controversial Last Chance U coach Jason Brown through that message, which was overlooked by many.

Jason Brown is known for his explosive and unapologetic takes. And considering that he has a history with Shedeur Sanders who called him a “clickbait” just a few days ago, there was no room for doubt that it was a message for him.

“They said bro you wasn’t the only Last Chance U. Yeah, they were talking about the nobody in Oakland and the basketball coach,” Coach JB said mockingly, responding to people who believe he might not be the person that Shilo was referring to.

Many people expected a response from him on the viral message and Jason Brown wasn’t going to stay put on it.

Controversial Last Chance U Coach Responds To Shilo Sanders’ Post

Shilo at the end of his message about recruiting transfer players wrote, “This not Last Chance U,” which prompted Jason Brown to think about the purpose of it. However, what Coach JB was not having was the “passive-aggressive” nature of the message.

“If you’re gonna do it, be about it, talk about it, then own it,” Coach Jason Brown said on his show. “That’s my argument, that’s my opinion that is why we debate on this show about it. So if you’re going to do it and talk about it then own the sh*t that’s all I say. Don’t play victim, don’t cry, don’t hide. Tag me on it if you got beef if you think. I have never been on this show one time and assassinated Shilo’s character, Shedeur’s character. I never have attacked any of these kids’ personal characters. All I’ve said is an opinion about what I think they should do as a program or as an individual playing, especially the quarterback position.”

Coach Brown also mentioned how it was not the correct post to take a shot at someone since the transfer portal means business. But adding to his argument he even voiced out how contrary to Shilo’s message the NCAA teams are now operating as JUCOs.

Coach Jason Brown Believes CU Is Like Just Any JUCO

The Netflix documentary Last Chance U was about JUCO football teams with Head Coach Jason Brown appearing in seasons 3 and 4. Contesting the Last Chance U remark by Shilo, coach JB explained how the transfer portal has turned the tables.

“It actually is Last Chance U son,” Brown said. “This is JUCO as that has ever been. College Football at the four-year level now is as JUCO as it’s ever been. It is mercenary, getting transfers, getting other Power 5 guys, and it’s in an 18-month span which is my target window in JUCO to get you in and out. So it is more Last Chance U than it’s f**king ever been.”

Coach JB also asserted why Shedeur and Shilo think they are above JUCO to clown about it when JUCO has produced some of the biggest legends in football like Warren Moon and John Madden.
