Deion Sanders shared a funny family moment with his mother, Connie Knight, while discussing plans for her living situation. The exchange quickly turned into a playful back-and-forth as Sanders explained why he wanted her to leave her current home and move onto his property instead.

“It’s time to rent your room out too. It’s time to get your room away. You wasn’t coming on time,” said Deion Sanders.
Connie Knight quickly pushed back at the idea.
“No, you wasn’t going to get my room away,” she replied.

Sanders then explained that the situation became more serious after her house was sold. According to him, he expected his mother to be upset over the decision.
“Because we sold her home, but she’s going to be highly pissed. She’ll cuss me out for selling her house,” added Deion Sanders.
Connie immediately questioned how the decision could happen without her approval.
“How could you sell somebody a house from under them? They don’t have nowhere to sleep,” added Connie.
Even with the jokes flying back and forth, Sanders made it clear that his mother would still have plenty of living options available to her. He explained that she could choose whichever house she wanted on his property.
“She has several houses to choose from. I said, pick a house that you want. And we got it,” Sanders said.
He continued by describing the size of the property and the available homes.
“We got it. I’m not in Canton, Texas. I’m not in one… there’s three houses on that property to choose from. And this one right here.”
The lighthearted exchange showed the close relationship between Sanders and his mother. While Connie clearly objected to how the situation unfolded, the conversation stayed playful throughout.
Sanders also joked about how his mother should react to the sale financially instead of emotionally.
“What they pay for that house, you don’t ask no questions. You just take the money and go,” said Deion Sanders.

“I said, boy, you some kind of son.”
