Speaking about Cleveland’s quarterbacks, Bajakian made it clear that he values the group’s talent, including Deshaun Watson, Dillon Gabriel, and Shedeur Sanders.
“Shedeur is a guy who showed a lot of flashes last year,” said coach Bajakian.
He also described both Sanders and Gabriel as “pros,” pointing to the way they approach their responsibilities on and off the field.
Bajakian then explained what has stood out most about Sanders during practices.
“I think Shedeur has a really good vision of the field,” Bajakian said.
The offensive coordinator revealed that Sanders has surprised him with throws that looked even better after reviewing practice film.
“He has amazed me making throws that I only realized after watching them on the film,” Bajakian said.
He continued by praising Sanders’ preparation and football instincts.
“His vision with his work ethic has been good to see,” coach Bajakian added.
