Shedeur Sanders Calls Out Social Media Page For Digging Out Past Mistake During Slow News Day

Shedeur Sanders responded after a popular NFL social media page resurfaced old body camera footage from a traffic stop, turning a past incident into a fresh talking point online.

The post, shared by NFL reporter Dov Kleiman’s X page, quickly gained attention after it described the Cleveland Browns QB1 as a “Class Act” while attaching the police footage from the stop. Soon after, Shedeur Sanders replied with a brief message that appeared to address the timing of the post.

Shedeur Sanders Reacts To Resurfaced Traffic Stop Footage

Dov Kleiman’s original post read: “Class Act: Body cam footage has been released of Browns star QB Shedeur Sanders, who was respectful and honest when getting pulled over by the cops after going 41 miles per hour over the speed limit.”

It continued: “You can tell that phenomenal parents raised Sheduer. A model citizen on and off the field.”

The attached video showed the traffic stop conversation between Sanders and the officer.

In the footage, the officer says: “Got you at 101 miles an hour.”

Shedeur Sanders then responds: “101 I got a dash cam on, man.”

The officer follows up by explaining the citation and next steps.

“It going to be waivable.”

The officer then added:

“Your state where you’re at has an agreement with Ohio that if you don’t take care of the ticket, they will suspend your Mississippi license.”

Shortly after the post went live, Shedeur Sanders replied directly to the page with a short statement:“Slow day in the office”

The response was posted publicly on X and quickly drew thousands of likes, reposts, and replies. The wording suggests Sanders was responding to the decision to bring back an older incident during a quiet news period.

Shedeur Sanders And The Old Speeding Incident

The traffic stop happened in the early hours of June 17, 2025, when Shedeur Sanders was pulled over by Strongsville police in Strongsville, Ohio, about 20 miles southwest of Cleveland.

According to police records, the stop occurred at 12:24 a.m. on Interstate 71 North.

Officers said Sanders was driving a black Dodge TRX pickup truck and was clocked at 101 miles per hour in a 60 mph zone, which led to a citation for driving 41 mph over the posted speed limit.

The violation was listed as a fourth-degree misdemeanor traffic offense under Ohio law.

In the end, the resurfaced footage has brought renewed attention to a traffic stop that dates back to June 2025, but the immediate headline has shifted to Shedeur Sanders’ public reaction on social media.
