Coach Prime was named the SI Sportsperson of the Year after the conclusion of his debut season with the CU Buffs. The sporting world certainly saw the spark of the Prime Effect early in September which though died down later on but ended up hinting at an upcoming storm in the season ahead.
Deion Sanders Shares the Updated Power Rankings of His Kids
In his recent chat with SI after receiving the honor of the Sportsperson of the Year, Deion Sanders shared the updated power rankings of his kids. He wasn’t hesitant in naming his eldest son Deion Sanders Jr. as the frontrunner in the list.
Prime revealed that Jr. has shown up after making the Colorado Buffaloes a major success story online. Deion Sanders Jr.’s media venture in the form of Well Off Media has captured every moment perfectly bringing a lot of eyes, deals, and money to the city of Boulder and Coach Prime’s program. His success story even made it to the Washington Post.
The second spot was occupied by his youngest kid Shelomi Sanders. The 19-year-old CU freshman plays basketball for the Buffaloes as a Guard. She played her first game against the Air Force Falcons after the rankings, scoring a three-pointer in the game.
The third spot was claimed by Shilo Sanders who Prime said, had been “consistently balling” throughout the season. Followed by Shedeur Sanders in the fourth place.
The last spot, however, was given to Coach Prime’s eldest of five, Deiondra Sanders, who reacted soon after the official IG page of SI posted the snippet from the interview as a reel. “Daaaaang,” Deiondra commented watching her claim the last spot after being the number one early in July.
Coach Prime Wishes His Favorite Kid, Deion Sanders Jr. On His Birthday
A day after updating the power rankings, Coach Prime made quite a birthday wish to his number one kid, Deion Jr. His eldest son turned 30 this December 1 and Prime had a special message ready for him.
“Happy Birthday to My FAVORITE KID Deion Sanders Jr.!” Coach Prime wrote on his social media post. “You’ve been Consistent and Dominant all year long. You have set the bar in your profession and 1 of the most sought after Creators in the game. Continue to Commit to excellence, capture the moments and tell the stories that interest u 1st. Love ya son but I’m more proud of u than anything. The way u love and support your siblings is a master class. Love u Son! Can I hold something.”
Reacting to the message Deion Jr. replied, “Means a lot. Love you too. Thank You for everything.”
Deion Sanders Jr. has played a pivotal role in making Prime Effect the center of the football world. It cannot be denied how his reach through social media has penetrated the entire sporting community via his YouTube vlogs and connecting to fans via Instagram.
It is because of him that the world got to see the full picture of the program which is expected to become a success story in the season ahead.
