The concern Deiondra Sanders raised earlier this week over not being able to reach her son Snow didn’t stay vague for long. Over Labor Day weekend, she filled her Instagram Story with text message screenshots laying out exactly what she says had been going on for three straight days: dropped calls, a dead iPad, and a fight over access to a two-year-old that eventually pulled in Jacquees’ mother.
It picked up right where her earlier post left off, when she said she hadn’t been able to talk to Snow and asked Jacquees to call her. What she posted next filled in exactly why.
Dropped Calls and a Dead iPad
According to Deiondra, every call with Snow ended the same way over that three-day stretch. He would start crying, and someone on the other end would hang up. She said Jacquees told the toddler to stop, since he doesn’t have separation anxiety, then ended the call anyway. She also asked more than once for Snow’s iPad to be turned on so she could reach him, saying at one point it had gone completely dead.
Jacquees saw it differently. In the texts she posted, he told her his time with Snow is his time, and that he had been letting her have things her way, but that was over. When she said none of that explained why she couldn’t talk to her own son, he pointed her toward a blunter fact.
“Your son can’t talk yet,” he wrote. “When he can he will have a phone.”

Snow turned two in August. Deiondra pushed back that a two-year-old absolutely has separation anxiety, and that she is his safe space. Jacquees wasn’t having it, telling her she was playing into the crying instead of toughening the boy up, and adding that Snow only starts crying once he sees her doing it. From there, the messages stopped being about scheduling and turned personal, with both sides trading the kind of insults neither is likely to be proud of looking back.
Deiondra Pulls Jacquees’ Mother Into It
Rather than keep it between the two of them, Deiondra tagged Jacquees’ mother, Rosie Thompson, and posted screenshots from a group chat that included her. Someone in the thread sent over a photo of Snow at a table with other kids. She thanked them, but made clear a photo wasn’t what she was asking for.
“I need to hear from my son,” she wrote.
Jacquees asked to be removed from the group chat and called the whole thing immature. Deiondra’s answer was that what’s actually immature is a toddler crying with nobody picking up. Not long after, a number she didn’t recognize sent her a one line reply: “Hey Snow is sleep.”
The fight even spilled into an older disagreement about travel, with Jacquees telling her that Snow’s cousins and extended family are in Atlanta, and that keeping him around them is part of how he’s raising his son, the same way he was raised. Deiondra’s response was that she never had an issue with the cousins. Her issue was that a recent trip was supposed to be about Jacquees building his own relationship with Snow.
By the most recent messages, posted Monday evening, the exchange had gone cold, with one-line replies with no real answers about how Snow was doing. Her last story of the batch moved to a different complaint entirely, telling Jacquees to keep other women out of her DMs and repeating the one thing she said she actually wanted, to speak with her son once a day.
None of this is new territory for two people who welcomed Snow in August 2024 and split not long after. Deion Sanders has told his daughter more than once to disengage from anything that doesn’t serve her. Neither Jacquees nor his mother has addressed this latest round publicly.
