Shedeur and Shilo, two of Deion Sanders’ sons, have successfully carved out their paths in the NFL. But there was one who couldn’t make it on the field. Deion Sanders Jr., Prime Time’s oldest son.
However, Bucky accepted that fate and chose a different route to the league through the media. Launching “Well Off Media,” he chronicled his father’s and his brothers’ journeys at Jackson State and Colorado, offering unmatched behind-the-scenes access.
His dedication and storytelling caught the attention of none other than NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell, who has now recognized Bucky’s work and approved it for the NFL stage.
Bucky’s Success In Media
Deion Sanders Jr. may have wrapped up his college football career at SMU back in 2015, but he’s still very much in the game, just behind the camera.
As the force behind “Well Off Media,” his daily vlogs have become the heartbeat of the Sanders family’s connection with fans. Through his lens, viewers get a raw, authentic look into the lives of Shedeur and Shilo Sanders and the Colorado football program.
Unlike other influencers who farm content just for views, Bucky’s videos radiate sincerity, giving audiences something ESPN or FS1 simply can’t offer. His work goes beyond documenting to amplify the Sanders brand in real time.
Each video captures not only moments on the field but the personal grind, growth, and brotherhood behind the scenes. In doing so, Deion Jr. has left a remarkable mark on football media, reshaping how stories in the sport are told and consumed.
Roger Goodell Grants Bucky Exclusive NFL Media Access
Deion Sanders Jr. has built a powerful connection with his audience through his Well Off Media venture, and that appeal hasn’t gone unnoticed by the NFL.
During an impromptu live stream from the family’s lavish Dallas mansion, where he is spending time with his dad while his brothers, Shedeur and Shilo, are in Cleveland and Tampa Bay, respectively, he gave fans a rare update. When asked if Well Off would keep covering his brothers in the NFL, Deion Jr. confirmed that the NFL commissioner has given him media access to the NFL.
Roger Goodell recognized the unique storytelling value and the appeal that Deion Jr. brings to the table. Though the announcement video has since been deleted, he followed up on Instagram stories with heartfelt gratitude:
“God is the greatest. Thank you God for everything, man. The greatest.”
Reflecting on and rejoicing in his recent solo stretch, he added, “I’ve been by myself a lot lately, you know.”
How Bucky Will Start His NFL Coverage With Shedeur
Deion Sanders Jr., also known as Bucky, is gearing up to take his Well Off Media content to the NFL stage. His first stop? Cleveland, to cover his brother, Shedeur Sanders.
“I’m going to start moving around and record them in July, when training camp starts. That’s when my Cleveland [Browns] credentials hit,” said Bucky.
This marks a major milestone in his media journey, as he transitions from college football coverage to the professional arena.
With exclusive NFL access, Bucky is set to bring fans even closer to the Sanders legacy as it continues to unfold in the league.
Deion Jr. Plans to Expand His Coverage
From Cleveland, Bucky will move on to cover even more rising stars across the NFL. In the since-deleted YouTube video, Bucky said:
“I’m going to be in Tennessee and record Cam Ward. I’m going to record Shilo, Shedeur, Travis Hunter, Jimmy Horn Jr. Gonna move around a lot of places.”
Despite never playing in the NFL himself, Bucky has carved out a unique path that now spans multiple teams and talents.
From documenting his family’s college football journey to producing NFL content, he has grown Well Off Media into a powerful platform. His growing reach marks a new kind of success story in the football world.
