Shilo Sanders was supposed to be reviewing chicken wings. Instead, he ended up driving away from a West Palm Beach restaurant after a stranger confronted him about his father, Deion Sanders, and the camera was rolling for every second of it.
Shilo posted the 16-minute episode, titled “Shilo Gets Pressed in the Hood Doing a Food Review,” to his YouTube channel on November 1. He had eaten at Hook Fish & Chicken a few days earlier and liked it enough to come back with his cameraman, Stud, a West Palm Beach native, to film a proper review.
The trouble started at the register. While Shilo was ordering wings, a man who said he was from the neighborhood got in his face over Deion. Why he was so heated isn’t clear from the footage, and Shilo said afterward that he couldn’t figure it out either.
The argument followed them outside. In the parking lot, the man accused the Sanders family of not doing anything for the West Palm Beach community. Then came the moment that ended the review. According to TMZ, the man allegedly reached into his car, and Shilo wasn’t about to stick around and find out what for. None of the coverage says what the man was reaching for.
Once he was in his own car, Shilo explained why he bailed. He didn’t want to end up having to defend himself and sort out the paperwork afterward, he said, and he put the rest of it plainly.
“…someone mess around and try to harm me or do something to me. So I had to just get up out of there.”
What seemed to bother him almost as much was the lack of a reason. “I don’t understand what he got against Deion Sanders, but he tripping,” Shilo said.
Shilo Sanders was SHOOK after a random guy PRESSED him, pulled out his GUN, & THREATENED to SHOOT him because of his dislike for his Dad Deion while Shilo was ordering food in the hood 😳👀
“Y’all don’t do sh*t for us bro… This b*tch could flood any minute… N*ggas don’t ride for the hood though.”

The mood in the car loosened up once the food entered the picture. Shilo had asked Stud to call him when the order was ready, and when the two linked back up, he asked about the neighborhood. Stud allowed that the area could be rough but said he still thought the spot had the best chicken around.
It’s a rough turn for a series that usually runs a lot smoother. Since his NFL run ended with the Buccaneers in 2025, Shilo has gone all in on content, posting vlogs, pranks, music and food reviews, including a Florida food series he started as a Tampa Bay rookie. Fans have also tagged along for bigger moments, like the Denver Airbnb tour he filmed during his bankruptcy trial week.
Shilo hasn’t said whether he plans to go back, and nothing beyond what the video shows has surfaced publicly so far. What’s clear is that when his famous last name comes up, even a wings run can turn into something else entirely.
