“The Agent Must Be Cool With the GM”: Adam ‘Pacman’ Jones Reacts To the Browns New QB Depth Chart

The Browns just announced Joe Flacco as their starting quarterback, a move most people expected after the veteran’s strong finish last season. What nobody saw coming, though, was the name sitting right behind him on the depth chart; Kenny Pickett.

That surprise caught Adam “Pacman” Jones completely off guard. Pickett leapfrogged over a crowded quarterback room that includes Shedeur Sanders, Dillon Gabriel, Tyler Huntley, and even former starter Deshaun Watson, who all landed in the third slot.

For Jones, the decision wasn’t just about football talent. He hinted that politics might be at play, saying, “The agent must be cool with the GM.” In other words, this move might say more about relationships and front-office maneuvering than what’s happening on the field.

For the Browns, it raises bigger questions: did they really pick the best backup, or just the most connected one?

Adam Jones Blasts Browns QB Depth Chart

Jones didn’t hold back: “The Browns is just a f*ck up from the GM to the owner, this is a shit show. The motherf*cker just came out with the starting quarterback. Joe Flacco is number one. Kenny f*cking Picket cannot see cover 2 or 3.”

He pointed directly to politics in the decision, saying, “Somebody know somebody. There’s some agent shit that’s going on. Like the agent must be cool with the general manager.”

Jones also spoke about Shedeur Sanders’ future: “Hopefully they put him on practice squad and f*cking get the f*ck out of there.”

Then he shifted his attention to Dillon Gabriel, who recently made a questionable comment about entertainers. Jones wasn’t impressed either way. “I’m not even worried about the comment. I’m worried about the dumb ass throw that he had over there and two f*cking coverage. This is supposed to be the guy that you’re telling me that smart as the f*cking offensive coordinator?” he asked.

For Jones, the depth chart doesn’t reflect football ability as much as it does connections and poor decision-making. He sees Flacco as the only legitimate piece, while the rest of the lineup is either misplaced or not ready.

His reaction makes one thing clear: in his eyes, Cleveland’s quarterback room is more about politics than performance, and it could cost the team badly when the season begins.
