The user commented, “I’m surprised his mother didn’t pop up and tell him to put the baby down to prevent evil spirits,” mocking her protective nature.
The remark played into the ongoing online narrative about how closely Regina is involved in her son’s life.
While meant as a joke, it added to the wave of trolling she’s faced since Jayden entered the NFL spotlight. While it once again put their close mother-son relationship in the public’s crosshairs, Regina wasn’t ready to back down.

Hitting back, she wrote, “Don’t waste your breathe. I’m not even in town and they’re worried about me.” Her sharp response made it clear she’s unfazed by the constant digs at her relationship with Jayden.
Rather than defending her bond with her son again, she used humor and a touch of sarcasm to shut it down.
It was a reminder that, no matter how much noise comes from the sidelines, she’s focused on supporting her son in his way, on her own terms, and won’t be shaken by some internet chatter.
